It's Shred-A-Thon time! Over the last three winters, I've gone from beginner skier to narwhal skier to narwhal playing rugby skier. And in 2024, I've reached a new level - skiing some of the blues in the middle of Cannon Mountain. I'll be rocking Dorothy's red slippers.

I made it there because of the wonderful fellow volunteers and ASP staff who help me with lessons after our adaptive lessons. I really appreciate all that Adaptive has done for ME this year.

I also want to share with you what I've been able to do for OTHERS this year. I am teaching swim lessons every Friday afternoon, and usually 1-2 ski lessons at Cannon each weekend. In just two months, I have gotten to work with so many amazing athletes, from age 12 to 56, using pool noodles, diving rings, bamboo poles, and snow slider equipment so that everyone can access swimming and skiing.

I'm a little worried that our season might end early this year, but I know even if it does, we will have summer kayaking, swimming, and hiking to look forward to. ASP offers year round programming.
