This year Sam, John and I (sadly Emily will be traveling for work), are participating in a unique and empowering fundraising event called the Sunrise Ascent on Mt. Washington to benefit Adaptive Sports Partners. Before sunrise on July 28th, nearly 250 volunteers will be teaming up with 10 adaptive athletes to reach new heights by summiting Mt. Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast! We are hoping to have a most successful fundraiser to help people with all abilities by ensuring they have access to year-round sports, recreation, and adventure opportunities. ASP is a wonderful organization and is special to us. We have been volunteering for over 14 years and have witnessed first hand how ASP provides opportunities for families and disabled athletes to participate in recreation and empower each other.
