Imagine watching a beautiful sunrise from the highest peak in New Hampshire. Now picture the work that it takes to get to the top under your own power. Once a year, the Mount Washington Road will be open for adaptive sports athletes to make that dream come true. Athletes and their support teams will work to traverse the auto road as the sun rises and I'm honored to be part of that journey.

On Sunday, July 28th, we'll start our ascent, traveling the 7.6 miles of Mount Washington Auto Road to reach the 6,288-foot summit of Mount Washington. I'll be supporting Jason Jones, a father, Veteran, adaptive athlete, and fighter who was diagnosed with ALS in 2015. His goal is to fight, support ALS research, and continue to live each day full of life. Adaptive sports have given him the opportunity to continue to do all the activities he loves with his friends and family. He bikes, hikes, hunts, fishes, paddles, skis, and enjoys all the equipment available to him to make this possible. Supporting Jason will open up an opportunity that we might all take for granted - the opportunity to summit New Hampshire's highest peak.

Each team is fundraising to benefit Adaptive Sports Partners, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering people with disabilities by building community, confidence, and skills, through sport, recreation, and adventure.
