Zachary is a young man in 11th grade who plays trombone and piano. He is studying to be a scientist--he is particularly interested in the solar system--and enjoys learning about American history, most recently Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War.

He loves going on outdoor adventures with his Dad. 

Zachary has trisomy 21 (Down syndrome). He uses the extra chromosome to great effect in a myriad ways. It also results in intellectual disability and low tone. 

Mount Washington will be a VERY big challenge for Zachary. He will be practicing by walking around a lake near his house in New London, New Hampshire.
